Nicolas Americanos – Managing Director
Nicolas Americanos is the Managing Director of RediSource Ltd, which he founded in 2011. He is a New York City native and has lived in Asia since 2005, particularly working from the South China region. Prior to starting RediSource, Nicolas was a Quality Assurance and Sourcing Manager for 3 years at TCO China, a top-tier outsourcing agency.
He has also held various positions as an independent OEM project manager for U.S. companies, including Key2China Sourcing and Direct Source Asia. Over the last 7 years, Nicolas has successfully completed over 40 OEM projects.
Besides English he speaks conversational Mandarin and Spanish. He holds a B.S. in Business and Psychology from the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY.
Bill Tod-Hunter – Project Manager
A native of South England, Bill Tod-Hunter has lived in Asia for almost six years, after spending three years in Latin America as a Procurement Manager in the construction industry. He has a diverse skill set in procurement budget analysis and design manufacturing.
He permanently joined the RediSource team in 2013 after consulting with us for two years. Besides English, Bill is fluent in Spanish and Italian, and speaks conversational Mandarin.
Patrick Brady – US Customer Service Manager
Patrick Brady grew up in Houston, TX. His interest in China blossomed during his collegiate years at Trinity University where he minored in Mandarin Chinese and majored in International Business.
Living and working in China for 12 years, it was Patrick’s first corporate job in Shenzhen, China in 2005 with Global Sources as Sales Manager that propelled his great interest in international trade. Fascination with how buyers and suppliers meet and do business internationally, overcoming intercultural challenges in business, and improving the way business is done are particular areas of interest.
In 2006, Patrick started Brady Sourcing, his first business, in China. Since then he has founded and co-founded several businesses providing services such as sourcing, procurement, price negotiations, quality control, inspections, factory audits, social audits, OEM manufacturing, business travel in China, and branding support for a variety of industries including: solar energy, fashion accessories, electronics and electronics accessories, and furniture.
Mickey Xie – Inspection Manager
Mickey Xie graduated from the University of MaoMing in 2004 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. She was a laboratory analyst focusing on petroleum viscosity in Guangzhou, China until 2006. Mickey then transferred her attention to detail, system improvement and precision engineering skills to quality control, holding a position as Quality Control Inspector for TCO China in Shenzhen from 2006 to 2009.
She then became Inspection Team Coordinator in 2010, and in 2011, she held a position at GSR LED where she was responsible for process control management.
As the Inspection Coordinator for RediSource, Mickey oversees quality assurance inspections, managing the local inspection staff and collaborating with customers.
Mickey speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
David Garzetto – Marketing Manager
David Garzetto launched the Asia Stuff VIP Card, China’s first digital loyalty card app for iPhone in February 2010. Card members were able to take advantage of offers from more than 100 retailers across Greater China. Asia VIP was an extension of the hyper-local social networking websites he founded under the Asia Stuff Media brand.
Today, the four sites include over 100,000 members, making them China’s largest network of localized, English-language social networks.
David has worked in marketing for the past 20 years creating award-winning campaigns some of the world’s largest companies including Delta Air Lines, IBM, Pfizer and Ritz-Carlton. He also has extensive experience in marketing & public relations across China as English-language PR manager for Asia’s second-largest B2B trade platform, Global Sources.
Sylvia Wei – Office Manager
An AnHui native who has been living in ShenZhen for five years, Sylvia has expertise in sourcing, commodity markets and project management systems. In 2008, she worked at BaoAn Integrated Component as a Business Development Representative, and in 2010, she held a position as an Accessory and Component Sales Specialist at Shenzhen Electronics.
In 2011, Syliva joined RediSource’s Shenzhen office as an Account Manager, and in 2013, she was promoted to Office Manager.
Sylvia is speaks fluent Mandarin and English. She holds a B.A. in Business English from AnHui International Economy College, and has a M.S. in Management from AnHui University.
Nichola Americanos – Senior Designer
Based in the Oakland, CA Nichola has 13+ years as a user experience and graphic designer for small to Fortune 500 companies, which include Microsoft, ebay, Informatica, Covidien, and Pearson. Growing up in New York City, Nichola received her B.S. in English and Journalism from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communications.
After a 3-year stint in technology-focused public relations in New York, Nichola shifted gears and turned to the high-tech sector as a copywriter and interaction designer for iown.com, the first online mortgage broker based in San Franicsco, CA. Later, she joined Cooper, a boutique user experience shop pioneered by Alan Cooper, where she employed a rigorous interaction design methodology called goal-direction design to complex business-to-business and consumer software.
Nichola has since been a consultant working on diverse range of digital and print projects from concept to execution that includes branding, project management, copywriting, video production, website design, and marketing.
